Restoration by AlecMcLeod Restoration by AlecMcLeod
My first attempt at 'overgrowing' a scene. I found an abandoned tunnel photo randomly through Google Images, and added greenery (moss, groundbrush, ferns, vines), humid atmosphere, and further lighting and contrast. I'm quite pleased with the final turnout.

All work completed in Photoshop CS6 for Mac. Roughly 25 images were used.

Here is the original:

I would love some feedback as this is my first attempt at this kind of scene, so please let me know where i can improve!

Hmm
I will think on this and get back to you
Hopefully I won't forget
Well, just in case I do forget I'll say a few things lol
I love everything you did in Restoration, especially the basic idea which is moss and other low-growing plants overgrowing a ghetto dungeony vandalized very urban area, and you executed your idea really well (it must have taken forever).
But I'm not sure how I feel about the flowers and blue lens flare. I feel like maybe color-scheme wise you should have stayed slightly even more on the yellow side of green than the blue side of green.
Maybe you could try more fungi and rust / eroding concrete along with all the plants in the next one?

And I also really like the depth and "eye movement" of Restoration as a piece of art in general. With the curve into the darker distance on the middle left, bright daylight shining through the upper right, and a flat closest bit being in the bottom left, I don't know it just is really pleasant to look at.
